Substitute Teacher Wanted at JENSEN education

Are you interested in working as a teacher in high school, primary school, and/or after-school care?

Now you have the opportunity to become part of our substitute pool in Stockholm as we are looking for substitute teachers for the spring term of 2026 with good opportunities for extension. By applying to our substitute pool, you have the chance to gain experience in one or more of our operational areas (primary school, high school, and/or after-school care). The schools included in this substitute pool are centrally located in Gamla Stan, Vasastan, Nacka Strand, Långholmen, and Sickla.

Job Responsibilities

Working as a substitute teacher means supporting the operations as a teacher when the need arises. This mainly involves short assignments on short notice, which can be suitable for you who are studying or have other commitments.

Training for reality and education as a goal is the common thread in how we educate our students. We focus on literature, reading, and writing necessary for higher studies. We work to ensure our students reach a high level of knowledge and develop their thinking - to think freely and think big - that is education for us! Here, students receive training for reality through profiling in different subjects and real-life case studies. At JENSEN high school, we maintain high quality, which is confirmed in the School Inspectorate's quality reviews.

Our corporate culture is characterized by high ambitions, professionalism, health profile, and a clear dress code. We have a positive team spirit where all employees contribute to taking responsibility for the whole. In our latest national employee survey, a full 93% recommend JENSEN as a workplace!

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who can teach multiple subjects. It is an advantage if you have experience working in high school and/or primary school. We also see it as an advantage if you are open to working in all areas (high school, primary school, and after-school care).

As a person, it is important that you have a strong interest and ability to help others. You are a secure and coaching person who is attentive and clear in your communication. You are also proactive, pedagogical, and communicative, as well as having the ability and willingness to be a leader in the classroom. In the role of substitute teacher, you work independently, but of course, in dialogue with a teacher and students at the school.

For us, it is important that you are able to step in at short notice and are flexible with times.

Your Application

You apply by registering your profile and attaching a personal letter and CV in our recruitment system. We only accept applications via the web; applications submitted in other ways will not be processed. We would like to receive your application as soon as possible as selection is ongoing. More information about our recruitment process can be found on our website under "Work with us".

The first step in our recruitment process is to complete two psychological tests (Matrigma and MINT). A test link will be sent via email immediately after your application is submitted, and you will receive feedback on the test right after you have completed them.

In preschool/school, you must, according to law (2000:873), present an extract from the criminal record. The order form can be obtained at https://polisen.se/ (https://polisen.se/). Order in good time, as it takes at least 14 days to receive the extract.
